Bayou Land Families Helping Families
...is a non-profit family resource center. We are a group of families who, through our own experiences, promote peer support and advocacy and are committed to alleviating hardships of other families who have members with disabilities or special needs. The term, "special needs," includes physical, mental, emotional, behavioral and or academic issues.

Bayou Land Families Helping Families is affiliated with the Statewide Family Resource Network which has established family-directed centers in every region of Louisiana. These centers are unique because they are directed and staffed by parents and family members of individuals with disabilities or special needs.
Bayou Land Families Helping Families is a family directed resource center for families who have children with disabilities or special needs, adults with disabilities or special needs, and professionals.
Families Helping Families staff are available to answer questions and provide technical assistance.
