About Our Organization

Bayou Land Families Helping Families is a non-profit, family-directed resource center for individuals with special needs and their families. It is directed and staffed by parents and family members of individuals with disabilities and professionals with experience in disability services. It is this common experience that enables Families Helping Families staff to answer questions and provide technical assistance to individuals with disabilities, their families, and the professionals who serve them.
